harddisk camcorder?

i want to buy camcorder for myself.
is harddisk camcorder is better than dvd type of camcorder?
is it better to buy the one with camera or just for taking video?
is it neccesary to buy the one with big storage like 60 gigs or 30GB is enough?
please guide me…

Hard Disk is surely better than DVD type. Its because you will have to use miniDVDs which are really costly and you can store something like 60 mins into it. In HDD, you will be able to store a few hours! And HDD is reusable while DVD is somewhat use and throw away (coz you will be editing the first shoot). I guess 30 GB would me good enough. but if you have a budget for 60 GB, then go for it.

All the best!

Hard disk would be faster, and more storage on the fly (less down time). Get the largest you can afford. And get still/video.
