I use windows vista, and have no background knowledge of digital camcorders or editing software. Shop assistants have recommended the Canon FS200 SD, and Magix Movie Edit Pro, but I am doubtful about them – the Magix software seems a bit basic, and I have read reviews that the camcorder is ‘too shaky’, has ‘bad picture quality’ and is ‘incompatible with most editing software. Does anyone have any advice?
