Panasonic debuts first consumer 3D camcorders

TOKYO — Panasonic has unveiled its first two consumer camcorders capable of recording video in 3D. They look like regular video cameras and can record conventional 2D images, but by adding a lens adapter, they can capture in 3D.

    @anilraj420 ppl only have to wear glasses because tv technology is still growing, well it might take 5-10 years till this whole 3d thing is perfectly implemented without glasses… who knows right… its just the beginning give it some time ;) … @Ido013 i wouldnt say it will die in the next years

    It’s a shame it can …
    It’s a shame it can only shoot 960×1080 in 3D mode, but fair play to them, it still is the best all-in-one 3D camcorder you can buy for less than $16000 compared to the AG-3DA1. But the GH1 got tweaked to shoot at higher bitrates, maybe someone can hack it to shoot 4K than I’ll definitely buy the GH1 with it’s 3D converter lens, even regardless of it’s fixed small interoccular distance.
