I've had this on the hard drive for a couple days now and still love how easy this camera is to use. In low lighting its not the greatest but using a flood light indoors or on a nice day outside its an awesome deal. Not sure which I'll use for unboxings, this or my T1i D-SLR but I think HD is here to stay. Heres the link to this camera for more info on it: tinyurl.com •Forthose who want to follow me on twitter and get any inside info, follow me here: twitter.com •For those that want to be made aware when I start a BlogTV, go to my YouTube Channel page and click the BlogTV Link and subscribe to me there for SMS text or twitter for show starting announcements.

Canon HF S21 Camcorder Test Video

Canon HF S21 Camcorder Test Video

Canon Legria HF S21 Shot at 25fps in bright daylight, Vivid setting Handheld, with Image Stabilization in some parts Aperture Priority for some shots (2.2 - 2.8) Edited in iMovie 09 Despite what Apple and Canon say, the PAL Legria model of this camera is NOT entirely compatible with iMovie 09 when shot at 50i. This was a huge disappointment to say the least and I only found this out when shooting, despite doing much research before purchase. I think the Vixia model is ok with Mac, but with the Legria, iMovie has problems with the interlacing when shot at 50i as it does not recognize it as interlaced. The workaround is to shoot at 25fps, or to shoot on 50i and then when importing to iMovie 09, import as Large format, not original size. This will slightly downgrade your file, but it somehow sorts out the problem of interlacing. Apple and Canon both write that this model IS compatible with iMovie, but it is not entirely true when shooting at 50i. I hope software will catch up and Apple will release an update to iMovie to correct this problem for PAL countries! I still haven't figured out the best settings for saving on iMovie with this new camera so I'm not sure if the quality could be even better. I don't know how this camcorder works with Windows and Movie Maker. Other than that I am very pleased with the sharpness of the video. Despite some reviews saying that it performed poorly in indoor light conditions, when compared to other comparable camcorders on the market, I ...

Hague Camera Supports K8 Boom Jib

The new Hague HDV Boom K8 has been developed to support the new range of HD camcorders such as the Sony Z1, V1, A1 etc. plus all other "handheld" camcorders under 4kg.. The boom is fastened directly to the video head of any sturdy tripod, in the same way you would attach your camcorder, it can be mounted using both 1/4" and 3/8" screws. On the end of the boom is a camera plate (quick release adaptor shown in video is an optional extra) mounted on a pulley with a control cable coming down the boom to a second pulley at the side of the video head on the tripod. It is this control cable that keeps the camcorder level as the boom is raised or lowered. Tilting the tripod's video head controls the camera pulley on the end of the boom, enabling the camcorder to be tilted up or down. The radial ball bearings in the pulley ensure a very smooth tilt movement. The boom breaks down into 3 pieces making it quick and simple to set up, standard bar weights (not supplied) are used for counterbalance and there is an adjustable fine trim weight to achieve optimum balance. The boom can be used at 2 different lengths, at its longest length the camera will go from ground level to over 3.5metres high and at its shorter length to 2.5metres high. Find Value For Your Camcorder By Using The JVC GY-HD100U

Initially, there doesn’t appear to be much going for the JVC HD100. It has places to hook up peripheral devices, along with lots of switches and dials, but it still functions a lot like a regular video camera. You will find a few differences as compared to other video cameras but you can still shoot amazing videos with just a push of a button.

More information on JVC GY-HD100U explained

This digital camera is quite flexible on how you could record and you have more control than you think. You have the choice to record all your videos onto an SD card. You don’t have to transfer the files to a different device or camera, it can be pulled straight from the card. You also have the option to record the footage both to tape and to hard disk drive. By saving to a disk drive, you can save time of having to convert the video from tape. By doing this, it is possible to start editing your video immediately.

Doesn’t matter if you have the digital camera on a tripod or on your shoulder, you should not have any problems with it. For a video camera this size, it is pretty light and it has thick shoulder pads for ease and comfort. The quality of the video produced by the GY-HD100 are truly stunning especially for HD. The video camera produces outstanding color and shades of gray in addition to fine and sharp details. The video recording is shot in 720p so you’ll have that clean, cinematic look to it. There is an option to shoot either in 30 frames or 24 frames per second.

At 24 frames per second, it is going to look like film so you should use this option if you intend to transfer to film. There is very little conversion as a result so the transfer to film is going to be fast and simple. It’s not recommended to shoot at 30 frames per second if you plan to transfer to film. The JVC GY-HD100 will be worth the money you spend, unless you wish to spend over $70,000 to experience HD. Compared to your typical under $1000 home video camcorder, this digital camera will take outstanding video clips. At one time, the GY-HD100 was thought to be the cutting edge of HD cameras.

The JVC GY-HD100U High Definition Camcorder can do everything it says, so if that is what you want, you need to consider trying it out. JVC was among the first to help develop HD video technology therefore it is a name you can trust.

Mike has been focusing on a comprehensive range of ideas that range from 30 inch bar stools to duel monitor setup. You will not imagine what you see!
